Hello FHS Choir Students and Families, The Homecoming parade is on Monday, September 9! Here are the details:
Meet at 5:15pm. The meeting spot is the intersection of San Gabriel and Scholar, as you can see on this map (look for the pink heart):
It is extremely difficult to find parking over there so you should plan to either walk from Foothill (about 8-10 min walk) or have someone drop you off.
We are Group #10. Walk down San Gabriel and follow the signs, you’ll find us.
Students, wear a Choir T Shirt (if you don’t have one yet, you can pick one up on Monday). Parents, if you would like, you can contact Mrs. Noorda to purchase a Choir Family navy blue shirt for $10 and wear it at the parade, or you can wear whatever Falcon gear you like. All students are welcome to walk with us! Wear good shoes too.
The parade begins at 6:00pm. You can see the parade route on the map above.
We will have a parent volunteer drive a vehicle in the parade, playing music. Students will walk alongside, waving, singing, and giving out candy.
Students, if you would like, you can make a family friendly Parade Playlist and send it to me. I’ll choose the best one from all the submissions.
The parade ends at Mission Hills park at 6:30pm. Immediately after the parade, the Fall Festival begins at Mission Hills park.
Choir is having a fundraising booth at the Fall Festival; we will be selling cold water bottles and otter pops. We could still use a few more volunteers to donate totes or help work the fundraiser. Parents, click here to volunteer. Students, click here.
It’s not too late to get involved in the fun! All Students are welcome to join us on Monday— we hope you’ll come!
Thanks,
Mrs. Noorda
